Privacy Policy

trainy is an AI product simulator that helps product builders practice identifying AI use cases, defining product problems, scoping agentic systems, designing evaluations, and preparing AI products for launch.

This policy explains how trainy collects and uses information when you visit the site, create an account, sign in with Google or email, use the simulator, submit work, or purchase access.

Account information: name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, and basic account identifiers when you sign in with Google or email.

Simulator activity: onboarding answers, mission progress, written submissions, grading feedback, scores, timestamps, and completion status.

Payment information: purchase status, plan, Stripe checkout identifiers, billing email, and receipt details. Full card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by trainy.

Technical information: browser, device, IP address, logs, cookies, and local storage data used for authentication, security, preferences, and product reliability.

We use information to authenticate users, save progress, run the simulator, generate feedback, provide support, process payments, prevent abuse, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.

If you submit work inside the simulator, your submission may be processed by AI services to generate feedback, grading, or coaching responses.

When you choose Continue with Google, trainy requests basic profile and email information so we can create or access your trainy account. We use this information only for sign-in, account management, progress storage, and support.

trainy does not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, or other Google account data.

We use service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, and AI infrastructure providers for simulator feedback. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to trainy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect the safety and integrity of trainy, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

We keep account, progress, and purchase information for as long as needed to provide the simulator, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

You can sign out at any time. You can also request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, or payment recordkeeping reasons.

trainy is intended for professional and educational use by adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
